Granulators are useful in the reduction of difficult materials. Granulators use a high-speed knife mill to cut down large components. Many types of granulators are available for specific industrial needs, such as plastic water bottle manufacturing to cut down plastics to copper wire granulators for copper recycling.


One of the most well-known pieces of equipment for recycling on industrial sites is compactors. As the name suggests, compactors can compact large materials into flat or smaller sizes. This makes handling and transporting the material much more manageable. For example, a compactor can compact leftover sawdust from a job site to easily transport and use in other products.


Separation and sorting equipment is imperative to industrial recycling. Not all waste on your job site will be eligible for recycling. In this instance, a separator can ensure that non-recyclables and recyclables are separate from one another to dispose of each properly.

A common type of separating machine is a magnetic separator. This type of separator will segment all magnetic material from non-magnetic material.
