5 Details That Make a Difference for Your Business Proposal

5 Details That Make a Difference for Your Business Proposal
  • Opening Intro -

Growing and developing a business is very challenging. In many situations, you will need to be able to raise money or obtain bank loans in order to fuel your growth.

-------------------------------------

When you want to do this, creating a business proposal is a practical necessity. There are five details in particular that need to be included in your business proposal.

Attention Grabber

The most important thing that you need to have in your business proposal is a strong attention grabber. A full business proposal can be rather mundane. Because of this, you need to make sure that you have something in there that will capture the audience attention early on. This can be a quick business summary or a few highlights that will be very encouraging for a reader.

Objectives

When you are in the early stages of growing your company, you will need to be able to clearly explain what your business objectives are.

This should include detailing what you want your business to do, who your target customers are, and what you will do to achieve your goals.

You should also highlight what some of the risks and challenges along the way will be.

Request

A business proposal should also include a request for what you were looking for. While it will be open for a negotiation, you should always put down a certain amount of money that you were looking to raise.

You should also clearly outline what this money will be used for so all parties are on the same page. The use of the money should then clearly help to fix some of the risks and problems you previously identified.

Financial Projections

When you are creating a business proposal, it also needs to include financial projections. These financial projections will need to be high-level but also curtailed based on your business. For example, a plastics company such as perspex will have different financial projections than companies that operate in other industries. The financial projections should also include a section to show how and when the lender or investor will be repaid.

Qualifications

The business proposal should also include a section that will outline your personal qualifications. Ultimately, investors will be looking to the business owner to gain comfort when placing an investment in a new company. Because of this, you should spend a little bit of time discussing your personal background and explaining how you are qualified to grow this successful company.

Most importantly, you need to make sure that the proposal properly conveys your company. Including some branding and imagery could go a long way when it comes to attracting investors.
